i really appreciate the work and effort you put into this album. A pleasant surprise while aimlessly surfing the web on a night like tonight. Great stuff man.

VariableGR responds:

Thank you for listening to the full album and enjoying some of the little things I did on these songs. It was a complicated and fun album to make but I'm happy with the final result. Thanks! 🤟🤟😎

i was definitely looking for something along these lines in this album. Not quite on the same levels as Cheshire to be expected but I could totally see this in the background of a retro style madness game or animation.

VariableGR responds:

Without a doubt, the level that Cheshyre It's too much 😱 It's still a bit difficult for me to make music, but little by little I'm improving some things. Also thanks 😁😄

this one gets 5 stars for sure. I love the ethereal and relaxing vibes it gives off.

VariableGR responds:

In this one I loved doing it, since I wanted to see if I could base myself on songs that are sometimes heard in the levels of a player named JhonatanGD in Geometry Dash

I'd like to see this as a geometry dash level! I love the DnB elements. This is totally something I'd put on a playlist.

VariableGR responds:

Thanks! I based it on the work of 2015 in the dnb of games on Newgrounds and Geometry Dash 🤟😎

The beginning could use a bit more buildup but I enjoy the ethereal feel it has. Reminds me of soundtracks from some indie works that may originate from newgrounds.

VariableGR responds:

The intro failed me in this song because I didn't have a very concrete idea to make transitions 😅, also thanks for the opinion 😁

almost wish there was a little more drum n bass than traditional chiptune but I see the inspiration from older works like super soviet missile mastar and some of waterflame's works especially for geometry dash. However I know there's a whole album to listen to so I won't be too harsh right now.

VariableGR responds:

You're right about that, a more complete and complex mix of drums and percussion in the chiptunes style could have worked.
I appreciate your opinion! Lots of love and thanks for listening to the song 😎🤟

how do you come up with titles

KawaiSprite responds:

by slapping my weinor against the keyboard and letting autocorrect take the wheel

i love the overall feel of it but the parts with the high pitched vocals seem a bit hard to envision as skid and pump. Maybe you did a little thing to differentiate which kid singing at what time, but the high pitched vocals seem a bit over the top. I loved the instrumental bits near the beginning, however I'd say my only criticism would be to minimize the use of the high pitched vocals, because they don't really give a very spooky kids vibe. A significant lack of Pelo's voice. Im definitely a fan though! You're a great composer, artist, and animator, and a pretty big inspiration for me too. I'm lucky to have you as a friend.

SamaadBae5 responds:

I quite literally sampled the OG week 2 voices, but I get what you mean. I wasn't really thinking of Skid and Pump separately and did it as more of a single-entity type thing. I might go back and change the vox later, though.

u should draw him

SamaadBae5 responds:

It's done!

u think so little of me

SamaadBae5 responds:
